Art in the Dark
Event Date: Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 6:30pm-8:30pm The event will be held at the Greater San Antonio Builders Association Events Center, located at 3625 Paesanos Parkway. Tickets $20
An evening not to be forgotten! Join the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind as we celebrate the “touch”…the “feel”…the “sense” of Art…….Meet some of the best artists, potters and sculptors in San Antonio. These artists have donated their art to our second annual ART IN THE DARK – silent art auction - the pieces will be draped and the artist will discuss the piece and show other works they have designed – the art can be touched– but NO peeking. The evening will begin with hors d'oeuvres, wine and great conversation. Musical entertainment will be provided by our extremely talented blind employees. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on the art. When dessert is served we will announce the winning bids. All proceeds will benefit our Rehabilitation Programs for the blind in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
