Below there are ways that you may designate your donation in any amount to a specific need or left undesignated for the Lighthouse to decide where the greatest need lies.
We will put your dollars to the greatest need
The goal of the Enrichment Programs are to supplement the child’s education by providing fun, engaging, and enriching activities. These activities focus on the Expanded Core Curriculum objectives of literacy, technology, physical fitness, social skills development, art and music.
This four-week program helps high school graduates with visual impairment or students with other disabilities near graduation prepare for future employment.
Various technology tools are used in the daily life of the visually impaired to enhance their level of independence for individuals of all ages. Closed circuit televisions, JAWS and zoom text software are the most commonly used.
Teaching independent living skill and/or Providing an RN to assess safety and safety measures, creating a more productive and safe environment for the visually impaired.
Maintenance and or equipment to create additional jobs for people who are blind
Donations made by our Board Members including annual dues, Champions for Charity, etc.
A card will be sent to the family/recipient advising of your donation, please give us the name, address and it will say In Memory. No amount will be disclosed unless requested.
