Our Career support team offers a wide range of services that enable blind and low vision individuals to obtain and maintain employment. We also offer the opportunity to learn how to operate an industrial sewing machine like the ones used in our manufacturing plant.

Ready to regain your independence? The San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind is a Social Security Administration Ticket to Work Employment Network specializing in people ages 18-64 who are blind and visually impaired, currently receiving SSI or SSDI. We provide support to help you stay employed, move toward your long-term career goal and become financially self-sufficient. Our service area includes the following counties: Bexar, Guadalupe, Medina, Comal, Bandera, Kendall, Atascosa, Wilson, and Kerr.
